Property Sparrow is feeling sorry for herself. Battered and bruised by recent events in her little portfolio.
At Flat 1 the tenant is now in serious arrears. So much so that a section 8 notice has had to be served. The tenant is a London bus driver and you'd think his job was recession-proof, however, he doesn't seem to want to pay his rent.
Property Sparrow thinks that, like buses, property problems come along in threes. She could do with the unpaid rent to pay for a broken toilet in Flat 2, a worn out immersion heater in Flat 3 and a higher than expected service charge bill for Flat 4.
