Buy-to-let repossession bargains

I've been looking at several properties in a block of apartments built in 2003, one of which is a repossession.

Unbelievably the flats sold at the peak of the boom in Nottingham for just shy of £130k

As a repossession I'm hoping to pick it up for less than £80k.

The property is just over 5 years old. It needs a little bit of a clean & the previous tenants clearly didn't treat it with much kindness.

When the block went up in 2003 and I saw the asking prices I couldn't understand how these properties were valued at this level. To me they were only ever worth between £75-85k.

It just shows that the real value in property comes through eventually.
