TDS cuts dispute times

According to reports in estate agency today the Tenancy Deposit Scheme run by The Dispute Service and predominately used by letting agents has brought back some external adjudicators in order to improve the time it takes to deal with tenancy deposit disputes.

It had axed up to 70 of them last year during its' financial crisis.

It claims that because of this and other changes in working practices 80% of disputes are now resolved in less than 4 weeks.
