Government has announced it will spend £390million to build over 8,500 new homes to help with the supply of social housing.
It doesn't seem very many for a big old country like ours in the midst of a extreme housing shortage.
The terms 'piddle' and 'wind' comes to mind.
It seems that the private rented sector will continue to take the strain for the medium to long term.
