By all accounts the National Housing & Improvement Council have been running this little baby for 33 years and it just gets 'bigger and bigger' every year.

If a landlord is very lucky the NHIC may also present the coveted George Plucknett Award if, in the judges’ opinion there is any one submission that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Having looked at the previous winners, it's still no clearer who won and what for.

The winner will get to meet a Minister. I'd love to go just to explain what I feel about the whole charade.

I suspect that only public sector gimps and bureaucrats will have the time to waste filling out the forms and having the time to go on such a freebee. On accepting their award at the public expense no doubt they will only be too pleased to thank the Minister for a very entertaining evening.
