Open House London

This weekend, 19 and 20 September, it's Open House London.

An event in its 17th year, Property Sparrow can highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys nosying round inside other people's houses. That's all of us here, isn't it?

This year there are 700 buildings open in London and it's free to go into all of them. Plan your route wisely to avoid sore feet.

There are a lot of domestic houses and flats to see this year and plenty of opportunities to daydream about what your life would be like if you lived in one of these properties. Property Sparrow likes the look of the Tree House in Bedford Terrace SW2.

Many architects' practices are open too as well as Government buildings and banks.
