Rental yield results

The latest auction results released from Allsops indicate the types of investment yields available in the current investment market. Out of 22 lots offered for sale 13 properties sold for an average rental yield of 9.29%. This is very close to the magical 10% yield that I would say shouts "screaming buy'.

With investment mortgages obtainable in the range of 4% this means that on this kind of return a new investment taking account of potential deductions such as insurance and other management charges would be in the order of +3.5%. Pretty damn good in historical terms. Think of all that lovely cashflow!
