Rents up a bit

February saw a small rise in new tenancies and an increase in average rent to £684, up 0.2 percent on the previous month according to LSL.

This is an increase of 3.9 percent from this time last year.

LSL also recorded another increase in tenant arrears during the month, indicating that many renters are struggling with the rising cost of living.
