Oh dear.
a) There is never "no reason" - though it may not be areason the Guardian likes
b) If I were unable to evict a tenant (within a reasonable timescale etc etc) for a reason I like, then bi) I will never ever ever let to anyone who is on benefits of any sort, has less than 20,000 in the bank, or has any worrying features of any sort (like being less than 25 years old), and b2) Will up my rents as much as possible.
Who ends up getting screwed -- honest hardworking tenants of course.
