A Stoke landlord has pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment by North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
The court heard that Mr Nathan Shipley had changed the front door lock and tried to remove windows and doors to prevent his existing tenants from re-entering the property without first securing the required court order.
Mr Shipley apologised for his actions, pleading that they resulted from frustration, following the tenant's failure to respond to his demands for more than 6 months of unpaid rents.
The court handed Mr Shipley a court bill totalling £2,802.
