Rents hit record high

Property Hawk's own Rent Index which monitors real time Assured Shorthold Tenancies shows that's rents have surged to an all time high over the last few days now hitting an average high of £619.

Rents have now risen a massive 1.4% over the last month and almost 5% over the last 3 months alone.

A word of caution though. Rental levels tend to be seasonal and historically October exhibits the seasonal high for the year with rental levels then dropping away until starting on an upward trend again from April onwards.
