How about tenants who don't open the windows and cover over extractor fans? Can they be prosecuted too? Of Course not.
Everything is always geared for the tenants. It only ever goes one way.
I called a specialist in and he told the tennants they must open windows to ensure fresh air could circulate. Fortunately I have a written report to that effect.
Tenants cause mould not landlords or properties
Our tenant refuses to put the heating on. Now the place is covered in condensation mould. He even showered without using the curtain properly and had a permanent puddle in the bathroom, causing a leak in the flat below. Can we sue him? I think not!!
