ONS puts average UK house at £226,185

Published today by the ONS, the Government's HPI data for July 2017 has:

• the average UK house price at £226,185.
• the annual growth of UK property at 5.1%
• monthly growth of UK property at 1.1%
• Monthly index figure (January 2015 = 100) for the UK was 118.6
