Typical of government who take all they want out of the system and then hike it onto anyone else trying hard to earn a living. Landlords do not spend money for the sake of it even if it does go against tax. They want caring landlords but penalise them for trying to make their properties a home a tenant wants to live in. Are they really surprised that we need to pass that cost on? They probably are they are o short sighted. Businesses do not stand a chance in this country.
