According to the latest figures from LSL Property Services Buy-To-Let Index landlords have made approaching double digit returns over the last 12 months.
Rental income comprised of the biggest share of total returns with the average of £8,243 during the year compared to an average capital gain of £6,349 which comprised 44% of the total gains.
If rentals continue to rise at the same rate the projected total annual return on rental property will be 10.5% or the equivalent to £17,294 per property.
