According to the Independent Liverpool is the cheapest place for student accommodation with average rent of £54.25 closely followed by Sheffield and Nottingham.
The most expensive place accommodation was according to the survey was Cambridge at £97.25, surprisingly well ahead of it's Oxbridge rival Oxford.
The rental figures were prepared using the cheapest bedroom rental in the private rental sector with a one, two, three or four-bed property.
