Landlords may need to check tenants passports

Landlords renting out property will be made responsible for checking the immigration status of their tenants under  proposed legislation set out in today's Queens speech.

Landlords that fail to do the proper checks could well find themselves facing heavy fines.

So who is providing landlords with the correct training to be able to ID false documentation? also whos paying me for the time wasted to do this. If UK immigration does their job correctly in the first place this situation would never be raised.
