Rents see 4.9 percent increase

Rents have risen 4.9% over the past according to figures from Findaproperty.

Their rental index records an average monthly rent of £860 this March up from £820 a year ago.

Supply of rental property has dropped by a staggering 35 percent from its peak in April 2009 leading to the healthy increase in average rental figures, bringing much cheer to landlords.
