Landlords Early Xmas present

Landlords who are looking to pick up an early Xmas present for themselves should check out the forthcoming Residential Auction being held by Allsop in London on the 15th December.

This London based auction house obviously has a lot of London and South East properties but there is property available to buy online across the whole country. How about a new 1 bed flat in Sheffield's 'regeneration areas' for around 50k. At that price you should be looking at over a 10% rental yield.

What to watch

Check out carefully the service charge...that could wipe out a good 20% of your gross rent. Also 'regeneration area' is not always synonymous with 'good'!
