Digital switchover for landlords

With all the excitement of the budget yesterday landlords could be forgiven for taking their eye of the ball of managing their residential property.

Just a little reminder that TV is going digital some time between now and 2012. Just a reminder that some TVs might need upgrading to digital.

I do not believe there is such a thing as a "digital" aerial. With an existing aerial, providing the signal strength is not too weak, it is perfectly capable of picking up digital TV broadcasts. The problem occurs where the signal is weak: analogue reception can be poor but present whereas digital reception becomes non-existent! Having said that, as part of the switchover, the power output of most digital transmitters are due to be increased . . .
