Landlords covered by NAEA

Landlords can look to get their money back after Huntingdon-based letting agent, Price Properties went into liquidation.

The £54,218 rent and deposit money that vanished when the letting agent stopped trading will be almost certainly returned to creditors according to the NAEA.

Individual claims of up to £25,000 will be honoured under the NAEA protection scheme of which Price Properties were a member.

Landlords can make a claim in writing to: David Oliver at the National Association of Estate Agents, Arbon House, 6 Tournament Court, Edgehill Drive, Warwick, CV34 6LG.

The case underlines the benefits of using a letting agent protected and insured by the NAEA scheme.
