Lots of interest but no property buyers - estate agents resort to desperate measures

Lots of interest but no sales.

Recent figures from the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) showed a 20 per cent rise in the number of buyers registering interest since January, however figures also showed a continued reduction in the number of homes sold.

Estate agents are taking lessons in 'trout tickling' as buyers flow past.
