Energy Performance Certificate are Here and 'Dear Landlords' they won't be Going Away

Energy Performance Certificates are here and if Landlords let a property to a new tenant without one in place they will face a fine of £200.

Landlords may not agree with them but they are part of meeting new European regulations and so they won't be going anywhere.

Energy Performance Certificates are here to stay.

Even the BBC are talking about them - you'd think it must be a quiet news day.

Anyway landlords you need to get an Energy Performance Certificate before you let out the property to a future tenant. Properties that have existing tenants don't need them until the property is re-let to a new tenant.

Now, please don't make us tell you again.

Enough said

Darling Margo
