A more balanced real estate market can be achieved by relieving leaseholders of financial strain, particularly with relation to ground rent reform. Future laws should further increase openness and safeguard the long-term interests of leaseholders throughout the United Kingdom.
ReplyDeleteI remember reading about this Leasehold Reform Bill when it first came up! Ground rent has been such a headache for so many people, so seeing it get capped like this is a big deal.
