Rental growth slows in August

Homelet's rental index for August 2016 shows slowing rental growth when compared to August 2015 data.

• The average UK rent at £913pcm -  3.1% up from this period last year (£885pcm) 
• Greater London annual rental growth is at 2.7% – compared to 7.7% in August 2015 
• Average rents are up in eleven out of twelve regions in the UK
