2 million landlords in the UK

There are now 2 million landlords in the UK according to the latest reports in the Mail.

This is up 600,000 since the financial crash.

In 2000 only 2% of mortgages were buy-to-let.  Now buy-to-let mortgages are running at 18% of all new mortgages.
