Student property gets swanky

This is Money have done a piece on student accommodation, detailing the evolution in levels of demand, and how these have been increasingly fulfilled by the private sector.
The shift have some 'halls of residence' looking surprisingly swish, with some rooms costing £400 per week in rent.

It got me thinking, maybe student landlords should be taking their rental properties up market and charging more rent. With students seeing personal finance as something that exists on the 'never, never', maybe they are more ready to fork out for something a bit more luxurious now.

Forget the Young Ones, it's time to get swanky.
