Landlord insurance - portfolio rates
The sheer arrogance of Southwark Council.
ReplyDeleteSouthwark Council, was so incompetent managing their own housing stock. Six people died in a fire in Lakanal House (a council own property). These were not private tenants, but council tenants.
I am left speechless, to hear Southwark Council failed to carry out a Risk Assessment at Lakanal House. Yet they want to 'educate' private landlords.
Southwark council was grossly incompetent in managing its own housing stock, they think they have the credibility to introduce licensing scheme for private landlords.
As the proverb goes "Charity begins at home"
Southwark Council managed to avoid prosecution for their failings.
Southwark needs to hang its head in shame. They have failed to explain why they failed to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment done.
