Severe rent arrears hike

The latest figures from national letting agent LSL Property Services indicate that severe rent arrears (those 2 months and over) have risen in Q1 of 2013 by 4.8% on a quarterly basis.

The numbers of tenants in severe rental arrears is now 94,000 up 4,000 on the previous quarter.

Rising absolute rental arrears are one of the by products of increasing number of tenants.
