'Fight back' against squatters

Housing Minister has announced a 'fight back' against squatters.  These individuals invade residential property and then claim 'squatters rights' making it more difficult than a landlord would imagine to claim back their property.

Commenting on the phenomenon Shapps stated:

“Squatting is anti-social, undesirable, and unfair on homeowners. This government is not prepared to stand that situation continuing, and in particular we're keen to provide better advice for people who find that they are victims.”
