Here we go, another survey..........
Apparently 49 percent of landlords are wanting to buy further property investments, but just 27 percent would be in a position to do so because of the restrictive availability of BTL mortgage finance.
The stats come from a survey from LSL Property Services.
Are you frustrated?.............. about property investing....... naughty!

I am extremely frustrated. Why are good long standing BTL portfolio holders being tarred with the same brush as the idiot amateur BTL "landlords" that jumped on the band wagon?
ReplyDeleteA sensible approach should be applied to professional landlords with good track record.
The lenders here too are to blame in large part for making BTL lending to clearly under qualified investors. Now its the genuine long term professional landlords that are having their business expansion potential scuppered as a result.
What is needed is a BTL product provider with some balls and the ability to place their products with worthy investors at sensible rates and acceptable fees, not the ridiculous fees being quoted in places.
I could go on......... really I could!
