Property Sparrow loves eggs and nests. They’re always made of chocolate, aren’t they? Chocolate nests and eggs like these are perfect for a rainy Easter weekend.
What have these got to do with property? Nothing much, except as a reminder that:
1. Whether you are renting, developing or investing there is every reason to think of your property as a nest. Somewhere that’s safe and built with care. It may even become a nest egg if conditions are favourable.
2. Chocolate is good for you and it can cheer you up. It’s something to do with the theobromine that stimulates the nervous system and boosts concentration. Cocoa beans contain antioxidant super-nutrients known as flavonoids and, in theory, these can lower blood pressure. In a recession, anything that can benefit your body and mind can only be a good thing.
3. In chocolate and in property, percentages are important.
