Birmingham Council is also proposing to impose council tax at the rate of 150% on properties empty for two years or more.
The proposals are now going to consultation.

S Glos CC have already informed us that the 150% is enforceable from next year if the property is empty for 2 months or more, will this effect the retired who also own holiday homes? How about council property, will they pay themselves the 150%...
What other industry can charge 150% if you don't use there service!?!
