The report is part of their ongoing campaign running throughout 2015 aimed at improving the private rented sector called - Settled and Safe, a renter's right.

Last year the Citizens Advice helped 80,000 people with housing issues, and debt issues due to private rental arrears increased by 8%.

Like I keep saying these same people have up to date phones cigarettes booze and TVs (something we didn't have for many years when first married. It's all about priorities and a recent program where some people on benefits were followed by a well known person in their day to day live proved that cigarettes come before feeding the kids and the phone must be topped up at all times. Some people do deserve help but in my experience it sickens me when I see people on benefits going on holidays smoking and drinking and then do gooders who earn a living out people like this telling me they are badly done to. I would dearly love to retire and I could if I went on benefits but that would be against everything I believe myself to be as a person. Sorry but I am sick of hearing the sob stories. Shut out our doors to benefit seeking foreigners and make people take jobs that are on offer whether they like it or not. We certainly did not have the attitude that it wasn't what we wanted from life and would rather take hand outs. stop molly coddling and make them see for themselves that life is about hard work and doing without the goodies in life.
