Betting on the future direction of house prices & interest rates

Anybody who thinks that they know what will happen to house prices or no the timing of interest rate rises is clearly a genius or a betting man. If you are one of the latter and fancy your chances of predicting the future then here are some prices from Paddy Power.

What they do show is that the bookies expects the most likely outcome is the first rise in rates in March and that houses prices in 2010 are most likely to head for a modest decline of between 4-6%. Do we have a genius out there who know better?
