NLA Against Mandatory Landlord Licence

This Government has spun us into thinking they were prudent, efficient, reforming, caring custodians.

However all the facades have fallen away and we have been left with an image of a mismanaged bunch of incompetent self-publicists, with little or no clue of how to manage a country or even themselves.

Throughout their reign they have surfed a global up turn and shrouded the country with hyped but truly empty policy decisions and poorly thought investment.

Who remembers John Prescotts promise of the £60,000 house? - what a buffoon.

Anyway the Mandatory Landlord Licence Scheme is another worthless but costly press friendly release that gives the impression of change when in reality it will be followed by fiasco.

The NLA has come out against its introduction, reflecting on the similar Scottish scheme which they believe has been a "complete failure" with only one in four properties thought to be on the register.

Its like most of New Labour a policy made for the press day but not for reality.

Roll on the revolution.
