As times get tough will more and more ex-tenants move home to mummy and daddy?

Welcome to the world of the 'boomerang children'.

The delightful tenant class, 'the young professionals' that in many ways fed the buy-to-let boom of city centre apartments could diminish as more and more look to save money and move back in with their parents.

As money gets tight, what is the point of a swanky city centre apartments if you can't afford to go out. Instead many young professional are choosing to stay at home and save on rent and bills.
