The Property Investors Back 3 Plan (Part 3)

We started off discussing in Part 1 how to reduce things that we were doing and then in Part 2, we discussed how to maintain what we already have.

Now, Part 3 is all about Growing.

So, lets Grow:

  1. Our Portfolio. This is the time where the real bargains are to be had. Discounts of up to 50% have been spotted in many areas with average discounts of 30%-35% common-place. I don't believe this will last for ever but certainly the ability to build a portfolio very quickly is available - if you have the guts and the time to do it. There's also the added bonus of year-end accounts for developers so if you're in the market for a new-build, now's the time to approach them.
  2. Our Learning. Its the winter-time when things ease off a bit and in today's market, it's crucial to keep on top of your learning. Whether this is listening to an audio, reading a book, report, ebook or course, watching a podcast, video or webinar - keep the little grey cells active. You can spend from nothing through to thousands of pounds on learning but as with anything you learn, take action!
  3. Our Systematization. If you have a spare bit of time on your hand, now is the time to look at all the processes you currently have and see where you can improve them. First write them down if you haven't already, then see where any inefficient areas are, then devise a new process to replace what you are currently doing. If you do this regularly enough, you'll find that you quite quickly get into the habit of reviewing and improving processes - and this can only help your business - and free up your time.

Finally, the most important of them all - MINDSET.

Its often misunderstood, often misaligned and often abused but your mindset is one of the most important pieces in your armoury. Get this right and your business will soar; get weighed down with negative issues and self-pity and your business will quickly go down the pan.

Its not just about positive thinking though; its about having a vision, its about taking action, its about making things happen; its visualising what will happeng and reviewing how you are doing all the time.

Hope you've enjoyed this series and watch out for the next multi-part blog from me shortly.
