Landlords are Dead - Long Live Landlords

'Buy-to-let is dead!'

'No, it's not buy-to-let is alive and kicking!'

'Buy-to-let is dead and buried!'

'Well, not the last time I saw it, it seemed perfectly fit and healthy to me.'

This is the sound of the media machine eating itself in a classic media induced , on this occasion, 'credit crunch' frenzy.

Anyway logic suggests that the 'dead' bit might be overstating the case, but 'sickly' might be close to the mark.

The Times have presented a Q & A session to establish a diagnosis on the state of 'buy-to-lets' health.

My diagnosis is that landlords are suffering from a case of food poisoning, combined with over eating, which is now leaving landlords with an unfortunate bout of diarrhea and sickness.

Some landlords might find that, recent unwise consumption and 'eyes bigger than their bellies' might result with some painful unloading.

Landlords should take two aspirin and rest for a couple of days.

Those landlords in need of a more thorough health check, would be advised to fill out our BTL multi enquiry form and get advice from 4 of the major BTL brokers.
